(FRANKFORT, KY) – The Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) is recognizing key education technology staff from Kentucky’s K-12 school districts and KDE's Office of Education Technology (OET) for their dedication and support of education technology during the COVID-19 pandemic from March 2020 to March 2022 by selecting them as recipients of the 2020-2022 Stilwell Award. Awards were presented during the Pikeville Independent Schools Board of Education September meeting to Pikeville Independent Schools Department of Technology staff.
Students assist with Remote Area Medical Clinic. Signature Smiles along with the Interact Club members district 6740 volunteered at the Remote Area Medical clinic set up an Eastridge High School on August 27th 2022. We saw over 250 patients during this camp providing the much needed medical, dental, and vision services.
