In Loving Memory of Anita Justice

Pikeville Independent Schools shares with deep sadness the passing of Mrs. Anita Carol Justice, a cherished member of our Pikeville Elementary family.

Mrs. Anita served in our PES cafeteria for many years, where her kindness and joy left a lasting mark on countless students and staff. She retired, returned as a volunteer, and then chose once again to serve daily alongside her colleagues, showing her love and commitment to this school family.

Superintendent David Trimble reflected, “Mrs. Anita gave out a lot of smiles, hugs and love. She retired, came back as a volunteer and then jumped back in to work with us daily as part of this family. She loved being here with the kids and these fantastic ladies in the cafeteria.”

“We continue to keep the family of our sweet Anita in our prayers, and our Panther Family. We have definitely experienced some huge losses in our district this year.” added Pikeville Elementary Principal Glenda Adkins

We ask our community to keep her husband, family, and her dear friends in the cafeteria staff in your prayers. A hug, a kind word, or an extra smile shared today in her honor will mean a great deal.
