2025 PHS September Events

Here is a quick glance at some of our events at Pikeville High School this September!

  • Blood Drive: If you are 16 years old, please bring your Permission Form to donate. If you need a Permission Form, see Mr. Asbury

  • Open House will be held Sept 16th opening with two sessions, Welcome to Junior High (7th & 8th Grade) in the Auditorium and "KHEAA at Your Service" (9th-12th) presented by Brandon with KHEAA in the Commons Area. A tour of classes, based on your students schedule, will begin at 6:00 pm for ALL Grade Levels. Teachers will then be available in their classrooms from 7:15 pm - 8:00 pm. There will also be a College Fair located in the Commons Area from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm!

  • ESS will begin on September 23rd from 3:15 pm - 4:00 pm (Transportation will be available for students within our district bus routes)

** KHEAA is the Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority, a state agency established in 1966 to improve students’ access to higher education. KHEAA strives to expand educational opportunities by providing financial and informational resources that help Kentuckians attain their educational goals. Most notably, KHEAA administers state student aid such as the Kentucky Educational Excellence Scholarship (KEES) program, the College Access Program (CAP) Grant, the Kentucky Tuition Grant (KTG) and other scholarship and grant programs. KHEAA also provides college access programming across the Commonwealth via its robust array of outreach services and free print and electronic resources to help students and families plan for postsecondary education.
